Corruption, reform & new political party

Some leaders are trying to organise a new political party with Ferdous Ahmed Queriesy as the convener. It is heard that this new political party will have pro-reform leaders from both BNP and AL.

Earlier attempt with Dr. Kamal Hussain as the convener to form a new platform had failed.

Before that an attempt by Dr. Yunus,which was most promising, to form a new political party by the name ‘Nagorik Shokti’ had already been aborted, the reason is not clear to the ordinary citizen/s though Dr. Yunus had tried to give an explanation in his 3rd open letter.

CG is in favour of reform in the present political system. That’s good. But to make the process successful, it is important that all the corrupt leaders irrespective of the party and power should the punished and totally eliminated from politics. Though the process has started but the progress is not remarkable.

The ordinary citizen thinks that the reform in the parties and formation of a new political system largely depends on how successfully the CG can clean the old wastes from our existing system.
