More reports of the devastation of Hurricane Sidr is coming out. More than 2000 deaths have been reported, more to come; many are still missing; thousands of houses demolished, in some areas 80-100% being affected,thousands of people are staying under the sky; crops of 500 hectre area is affected, people are out of food; costal area are flashed with saline water, drinking water is scare; diarroea and diseases are spreading….
The Government, NGOs-national and international and social organisations are out to extend their all out support to the devastated paeople. But the GOB expressed that the magnitude of affection is so great that it is not possible for the Government alone to cope with the situation ; it seeks the support of international bodies; WB and other organisations already expressed their willingness.
Bangladesh is trying to coming out of the devastation. Let us stand by her side.
