A 3 day conference from 1-3 December 2011 was held on e-technology in the Bangabandhu International Conference Hall at Dhaka on progress, prospect and problems of e-technology in Bangladesh in context of Asia. Prime Minister Sk. Hasina inaugurated the conference calling for wider use of IT in Bangladesh. Experts from home and abroad were speakers in different sessions. IT enthusiastics in hundreds attended the sessions.
Exhibition by different IT manufactures/service providers was also arranged in the center premise to display their products and services. Different Ministries of the Government also gave stalls to project their e-services.
Best 10 e-service providers in Bangladesh were also awarded in the session.
I could attend 2 plenary sessions and 2 seminars on the 2nd day and impressed and informed.
