Experts in India are rethinking the Indo-Bagladesh relations in the backdrop of January 5 election in Bangladesh-

Asian Age has stated

In Bangladesh, with polarisation complete between Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League defending a secular polity, albeit by questionable means, and the right wing forces rallying around Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s Khaleda Zia, are Indian interests safeguarded only in the short run, or does India have a fall-back strategy? Again it is a case of reluctant meddling resting on hope that historical forces will beget a benign outcome.
