David Bergman and 50 citizens

Economist journalist was summoned by the International Crime Tribunal of Bangladesh for his alleged reporting against the court in the international weekly. He was given punishment in the form of Tk 5000 and 7 days jail if failed to pay.[1][2] The judgment was criticized by the human rights groups and international journalists.
From Bangladesh also 50 eminent citizens expressed their concern over the measure.[1] That is the mistake they have done. Tribunal asked the editor of the newspaper that published the news and also directed the editor to submit the address of the citizens who dare to sign the statement.
