Viber -1When I was about to call my nephew at Perth, Australia we had to hear that Viber connection is disabled in Bangladesh.  It was 18.01.2015. Later informed that the Viber along with Tango, WhatsApp  were blocked due to security reasons on request from the Intelligence Departments. Then it was disclosed in the net that the measures were taken so that Tareq Zia, son of Khaleda and Senior Vice President of BNP couldn’t contact the BNP activists in Bangladesh and couldn’t encourage the arson.

We were thinking that Government may shut down the other means of communication with outside.

But on 22/1/2015, BTCR re-establishes the connection of viber. But this time it was not disclosed why the connection was re-established.
