defeat=1In January 5 2014  General Election that was boycotted by BNP, AL managed to win with absolute majority . AL won 153 seats uncontested, the remaining seats were divided among AL and its allies JP and others. BNP was technically defeated first on the day.

After 1 year, BNP started agitation  for re-election cancelling January 5 election of 2014. BNP failed to create momentum in the movement strong enough to  compel the government for re-election and it is technically defeated for 2nd time in a year.

Though AL managed to win in both the events but it is not sure whether this will give them a lasting foundation to rule the country for long time.

It is true, really true. BNP has defeated twice this year technically and I think BNP is one now one kind of demolished and to come back from this situation they need long long years.
